TrucLink Core

Core is the base board of the range. It mounts inside the machine, reads sensors, switches relays and records every sale, then pushes the data to the server over WiFi, or over 4G when the local network dies.

Its outputs are dry contacts wired in parallel with the machine’s own buttons, and its inputs are opto-isolated signals and a pulse counter, so it is not fussy about the machine. Coffee machines are where it runs most, but vending machines, water dispensers and car washes all take it.

Highlights

  • Keeps selling when the network dropsA separate controller keeps the machine running; network trouble does not stop sales
  • WiFi first, 4G as backupWiFi passwords change more often than anything else on site, so the board has a nano-SIM slot
  • Updates from a distanceReload the machine's software without sending anyone out to it
  • Write first, send laterEvery sale is written at the machine; no length of outage costs you revenue

How money is handled

Core takes no money. Its job is to count every sale precisely, so the money side has something to reconcile against.

  • Counts turn into revenue Every sale is matched to that machine's price list, so today's take is known immediately
  • Collect however you like Cash, transfer or a QR code on the counter, and staff pick the method at shift close
  • Shift reconciliation Count the cash, enter it, and the system shows the gap against what the machine recorded
  • No network, no lost numbers Sales are held at the machine and sent on when signal returns
