TrucLink Hub
A central panel beside the machines, 7 inch touch screen
No relays, no contact with the machine. It bridges to the Core boards over Bluetooth and drives everything else nearby by infrared and 433 MHz radio.
The first job of the Hub is the screen. Nobody pulls out a phone to check whether machine 2 has faulted. They glance at the panel already sitting there. The main page answers three questions in one look: what is running, what is faulted, and how much sold today.
The rest are the places a Core board’s own network cannot reach: the cheaper Core has no SIM, a machine inside a metal cabinet blocks WiFi, and acting at the machine wants tens of milliseconds rather than hundreds.
