TrucLink Mini
A module that lives inside the machine, and closing the panel hides it
For a single machine on stable WiFi, where nobody wants a strange box bolted to the outside.
Mini screws to an inner wall of the machine; close the panel and all that shows is the antenna lead and the signal loom. It drops GPS, the 4G SIM and the battery, none of which a single machine on WiFi ever uses.
Its two outputs are dry contacts wired in parallel with the existing buttons. If its software hangs, if WiFi drops, even if the board is pulled out entirely, the machine still works by hand exactly as it did before.
